The Chef Duo re-opened The Claremont Tavern on June 16, 2011 after the previous owners closed the doors to create a casual family dining restaurant in Bernardsville, NJ.

All menus have been designed carefully to offer many tavern staples & favorites, while constantly adding a creative touch. The second floor is beautifully designed to host small private events. With 6 large televisions, the upstairs is a great spot to host sporting events!

Nicoletta Pizzeria

Nicoletta is the Altamarea Group’s homage to Chef Michael White’s favorite childhood dish: pizza.

Indulge in hand-tossed specialty pies like the Funghi: topped with roasted wild mushrooms, sautéed spinach, and porcini marsala crema, or the signature Calabrese: loaded with thick-cut pepperoni, homemade fennel sausage and fresh mozzarella. Feeling adventurous? Create your own pie using any number of our artisanal toppings. All pizzas are made fresh to order.

Nicoletta also offers a variety of crave-worthy snacks like crispy mozzarella fritters, baked Neapolitan meatballs, and spicy honey & calabrian chili-glazed chicken wings. We are also pleased to offer a Gluten Free pizza crust.

Osteria Morini

In Italian, “osteria” means a place where the owner “hosts” guests. Osteria Morini is open for dinner daily.

The open kitchen allows for guests to watch the action of their meal preparation unfold. Executive Chef Bill Dorrler oversees the kitchen operations at Osteria Morini, led daily by Executive Chef Kevin Knevals. Osteria Morini’s wine list was curated by Altamarea Group Beverage Director Hristo Zisovski to include wines native to this part of Italy.

Osteria Morini received three stars from both the New Jersey Star Ledger and New Jersey Monthly.

Rudolph’s Steakhouse

Located in beautiful downtown Bernardsville, Rudolph's Steakhouse is housed in a charming historical stone building built in the mid 1800's. But the cuisine is anything but antiquated. Chef David Drake brings his modern American cuisine, simple yet refined, using fresh local ingredients and pairs them with in-house 30-day dry aged prime cuts of meat. 

The beverage program boasts an emphasis on seasonal specialty cocktails, original creations and updates on classics.

​Owner Rudolfo Hisena has bestowed his large personal collection of wines to the restaurant deep in older vintages, perfectly cellared, many at bargain prices.
